BRULA Webinar Series: Bridging Legal Minds between the UK and Uzbekistan
Beginning December 2025, BRULA launches a continuous series of online discussions bringing together British and Uzbek lawyers, academics, and arbitrators. Our goal is to connect professionals and students, promote mutual legal education, and create a platform for cross-border cooperation.
Each month, we will host thematic webinars covering key legal fields relevant to both jurisdictions:
International Arbitration
Energy and Infrastructure Projects
Banking and Finance
Corporate and Commercial Law
Criminal Practice and Compliance
International Litigation and Enforcement
To deepen expertise, BRULA will also form Specialization Groups among its members — such as the Banking & Finance Group, Energy & Infrastructure Group, Corporate Law Group, and others — allowing professionals to collaborate within their chosen field and later represent their group during webinars.
A separate track will focus on International Arbitration, featuring arbitrators specializing in various domains — including investment arbitration, bonds and sovereign debt, rare-resource projects, and energy transition disputes.
The webinar series will have two audience tracks:
Academic Track (for students and young lawyers) – monthly educational sessions.
Professional Track (for practitioners and arbitrators) – every two months, with in-depth case analysis and sector discussions.
Through these initiatives, BRULA aims to cultivate a dynamic learning community and foster sustainable professional partnerships between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom.
