26 June 2025 — During the Uzbek Law Day held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London, the official announcement was made regarding the creation of the British-Uzbek Law Association (BrULA) — a professional platform for collaboration between the legal communities of Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom.

BrULA will serve as a bridge between practicing lawyers, the academic community, and legal business representatives from both countries. The initiative aims to strengthen legal dialogue, promote legal reforms, and expand professional contacts.

Key objectives of BrULA:

— Develop sustainable connections between legal professionals of Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom;

— Organize joint forums, seminars, and educational programs;

— Facilitate cross-border projects, arbitration initiatives, and investment matters;

— Support legal reforms and exchange best practices in the field of law;

Build trust and professional support between the two countries.

The first event under the auspices of BrULA — a bilateral meeting between British and Uzbek lawyers — is scheduled for October 2025. More detailed information will be provided shortly.
